Thursday, November 5th at 4:00pm, Social Science Building 107
In this presentation, Associate Professor Todd Coleman and visiting researcher Amr Haj-Omar Zoul will discuss their STEM+a (science, technology, engineering, math and art) outreach program. By introducing an innovative outreach engineering curriculum to local San Diego high schools and community colleges, they are working to increase student’s interest in STEM+a education and to “help develop conscious engineers aware of issues related to social justice, health and environment.”
