The City of San Diego Library Launches New System-Wide STEAM Education Program
The Library is launching a system-wide STEAM program, Spring into STEAM. This new initiative will offer hands-on science and technology programs at all 36 public libraries in March, April, and May. With a “Bug Out!” theme, Spring into STEAM will be an annual event and this year features fun and engaging programs on entomology, computer programming, beekeeping, solar energy, spatial geometry, and more. Geared towards kids ages 9-12, the series will kick off on March 2 and will run through May 17. Read more about the program in a San Diego Union-Tribune article here.
